I try to find body lotions without essential oils or ones that are fragrance-free. Essential oils are commonly used for fragrance, however, they can still cause allergic reactions especially in sensitive skin. Synthetic fragrances are among the worst in terms of toxins or carcinogens. I avoid them completely. Beware that many essential oils can be allergenic - lavender and chamomile are supposedly among the most highly allergenic. The Honest face + body lotion is unscented and is really affordable while the Tree to Tub is also has an unscented lotion and costs a bit more. Tree to Tub is a small, family owned company based in San Francisco. Both can be purchased at Amazon and I have seen the Honest lotion at stores such as Sprouts.
